Team Bananas

Team Bananas – It shall forever remain a secret where this name come from.

The team is divided into artists and programmers and we’re currently working together from the labs @ Sheffield Hallam University. We mark our territory by food spillage (Marielle), paper planes (Thanos), burning goods (Paul AKA Porl AKA The Rug) and cider bottles (Märten).

Märten Tõnissoo

Märten Tõnissoo – Technical project lead, managed the technical side and schedule of the game.

Worked with art lead to solve rising issues and did some programming tasks (input, sound, UI).

Generally responsible, Märten becomes a serious stalker when chasing people for assets. He’s always “almost” on time and loves dancing. Märten is easily entertained, never grumpy and his team mates think of him as the “glue” of Team Bananas.

marielle Marielle Reuser – Art lead and character designer / modeller

Being the token girl and most outspoken of the group, Marielle is also responsible for public relations. And backrubs, cooking & cleaning.

avatar_paul Paul Turner – Graphics and Gameplay Programmer

Paul contributed to the rendering, collision detection and gameplay sections of the game. He also took on the role of helping test art assets in the game, and later providing artists with the latest game builds so they could test their assets independently. He was raised on the Commodore 64 and later the Sega Megadrive, and has been passionate about gaming ever since. He is especially fond of platform games, which stems from his childhood idol Sonic The Hedgehog. He has a wacky sense of humour and a penchant for fast food.
